Drums in English means percussion instruments. We named our pub that way, because my family, my friends and relatives are big fans of classic rock music. Since we were students, we have been gathering to play music, and now we’re organizing concerts for our clients. In the summer we take a break, since they prefer our outdoor garden.


    In the 1970s, it was declared an architectural monument of culture of local importance. It is a three-story building, late secession architecture. We turned the ground floor into a rock bar for people who like classic rock music, blues, jazz. We have been organizing concerts for over 20 years.



    The artistic lighting is my idea, which was born spontaneously. I participated in the entire design of the restoration of the building. At a much later stage, when the decision for its renovation was already made, I decided to look for a designer in artistic lighting. I contacted a Varna company that came up with a project. Nowadays, thanks to advanced computer technology, we saw the project in 3D format, we liked it and made it real.


    I am glad that people are pleasantly surprised by what they see as an end result. In this sense, I should mention another special element: we completely restored the clock on the tower together with its bell, thanks to a master clockmaker from the city of Plovdiv. Only the tower bell remained from the original clock. The clock is working extremely accurately. It connects via GPS from a satellite. It is a pleasure to see how passers-by check their wristwatches on our clock tower.
